Bern, 6 November 2024 — The Bern-based IT and digitalization provider Mimacom is realigning its strategy and switching from a by-country organization to a service line structure. This will enable Mimacom to respond proactively to market developments and solidify its position as a technology leader. Tim Weinmann, who has been with the company since 2016, will now take on the role of global CEO.
From 2023, Tim was Chief Revenue Officer and responsible for Mimacom's US business. Prior to that, he managed the German market and held the global role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He takes over from interim CEO Agim Emruli, who will focus on his role as CEO of the Mimacom Flowable Group (MFG).
In addition to CEO Tim Weinmann, the new management team comprises the three Service Line Leads, Bruno Wassmer, Jean-Francois Clercx, and Fabian Kleiser, as well as Sales & Marketing Lead Matthias Köhler.
New management team introduces three international service lines
The Mimacom teams are already working across markets to offer customers the best possible service. Now, this new structure reflects the company’s strategic orientation in organizational terms. Mimacom has been divided into three service lines, with Bruno Wassmer heading up Digital Product Engineering, Jean-Francois Clercx leading Automation Fabric, and Fabian Kleiser managing Digital Foundation. Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing Matthias Köhler completes the management team.
Each of the three areas consists of international teams of consultants, software engineers, and sales staff. Digital Product Engineering is the business division that enables customers to turn their ideas into powerful digital products and services or modernize their existing applications. With Automation Fabric, customers benefit from streamlined operations and gain a competitive edge through intelligent automation. Digital Foundation transforms companies' digital infrastructure with modern IT solutions, delivering cutting-edge data, AI, cloud, and platform engineering.
The new service structure simplifies cross-border collaboration with customers, who will continue to benefit from Mimacom consultants and engineers’ local expertise.
I am excited to be working with the experienced management team to introduce the new service lines to serve our customers globally while continuing to offer our local insight. Thanks to the new organizational structure, we are ideally positioned to shape digital progress in an innovative and profitable way for our customers across all Mimacom markets.
Bruno Wassmer (Mimacom Switzerland) is responsible for the Digital Product Engineering division as Service Line Leader. He has been with Mimacom since January 2024 and previously held the position of Managing Director in Switzerland. Jean-Francois Clercx (Mimacom Iberica) will take over the Automation Fabric division. He has been with Mimacom for 12 years and has been CEO of Mimacom Iberica in Spain since 2014. In addition to new technologies, his focus is on international growth and commercial team management.
Fabian Kleiser (Mimacom Germany) is the Service Line Leader of the Digital Foundation division. The software developer started at Mimacom in 2016 as a programmer and has progressed through various management roles to become a management member. With his knowledge and experience, Fabian sees how technical possibilities can create business benefits.
Matthias Köhler joined Mimacom in Switzerland as global EVP Sales and Marketing on November 1.
